What’s Ahead for Venture: 2025 Expeditions, Partners, and Priorities
This year marks a turning point for Venture. After four years of building small, focused missions and establishing long-term partners, 2025 is the first time we’ve laid out a full-year expedition schedule from the start. Seven confirmed missions. Five countries. Dozens of local partners. And an operations team that’s lean, ready, and better equipped than ever.
Where We’re Headed
Our expeditions this year will take us across a mix of familiar regions and new terrain. We’re returning to two core partner communities in Uganda and Bolivia, where we’ve supported multi-year development and logistics plans. We’re also expanding into remote areas of eastern Nepal and the southern Philippines — places where access, climate disruption, and limited infrastructure demand precision and trust.
Confirmed regions
Eastern Uganda (March, July)
Southern Bolivia (April)
Northern Laos (May)
Eastern Nepal (August)
Southern Philippines (October)
Central Kenya (Ongoing support ops)
What’s New This Year
While the mission is the same — to bring focused aid and long-term environmental support into hard-to-reach places — this year’s model includes a few key upgrades.
Partner-first design
Each expedition is led or co-designed by a local organization with boots-on-the-ground context. We’ve shifted from reactive deployments to partner-led planning cycles.
More gear, lighter footprint
We’re carrying less weight and moving faster thanks to new field kits, compact solar setups, and mobile satellite modules. This lets us go further, stay longer, and reduce strain on local supply chains.
Remote media support
In three regions, we’re embedding field media specialists to help partners capture and share their work — not ours — with their own supporters, funders, and press outlets.
The Goal
It’s not growth for the sake of growth. It’s scale that still listens. Support that stays personal. Missions that leave more behind than they bring in.
“Venture isn’t about reaching more places. It’s about reaching the right ones—and being actually useful when we get there.”
Anya Kader, Founder
